Psychotherapy - Adults
You may wish to look at feelings around a specific or repeated problem (e.g. relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, family issues or compulsive behaviour & addictions) or you may have a general feeling that you could be getting more out of life and feel more fulfilled. I work collaboratively and creatively with you to establish an understanding of the problem/s that require attention, and then in addressing them.

During your initial (consultation) session I will ask a series of questions to help me get a sense of your needs; what brings you to therapy and what you want to get out of it. There will also be time for you to ask any questions you might have about the process of psychotherapy or the way I work.

Sessions are held weekly, or twice-weekly, for 50 minutes. The work is often open ended, meaning an end date is not set at the beginning. However, there are times when it is useful to set a time frame for the therapy and this is something that we can decide on together.

I also offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists from a range of modalities.
